About my charity : Hornsey YMCA Hornsey YMCA
Hornsey YMCA provides affordable housing, sporting, recreational and childcare services for the local community. Hornsey YMCA has organised its annual Crouch End 10k and Children's 1 mile fun run since 1991, and 2008 is celebrating its 18th year. The event has raised more than £125,000 for good causes since 1991, and in 2008, for the first time in in the event's history, its fundraising efforts will focus on a YMCA cause - the Hornsey YMCA Children's Bursary Fund. 20% of all sponsorship raised will also go to a variety of local children's charities, including Action for Kids, Treehouse and the 101 Playgroup. Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

The Story...
I was out boozing with a few friends when someone suggested that it would be a great idea to run the Crouch End 10K.  At the time, Jose Cuervo and I also thought it would be a good idea.
The months have now passed and it's only a few weeks until the big day. I have managed to run a few kilometres and consequently suffered for many days after. I do plan to give this my best shot, as I don't plan to do it ever again. If you would like to make a small donation then it would be greatly appreciated, and I then wont be able to bail-out... not that this has ever crossed my mind ;)
