Jubilee Debt Campaign is a small organisation with a big impact. With fewer than five staff and a budget of less than £250k, we are the only UK-based organisation working for cancellation of unjust poor country debts and a responsible lending system for the future.
Recent major successes include: - persuading the UK Government to become the first to outlaw 'vulture fund' activity - estimated to save the poorest countries £145m over the next six years; - working with partners to achieve cancellation of all Haiti's debt after the terrible 2010 earthquake.
Your donation will help us reform the Export Credits Guarantee Department, extend vulture fund laws to Jersey and Guernsey, and call for debt audits in Egypt and Zimbabwe.
