We help hospitality workers in crisis to provide them with support when in need

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This September the Jellybean Team will be taking on the challenge of climbing the three Highest Peaks in the home nations: Scotland, England and Wales. Starting with Ben Nevis before heading south for Scafell Pike and then finishing at Snowdon. The Challenge is all the more tough as we complete the whole lot in 24 hrs. Now that is going to be challenging!

A total of 480 miles of driving, a large part during the night, and climbing a total of almost 3000 vertical metres, makes this a special kind of challenge, and not one that everyone is going to manage.

We are raising money for Hospitality Action, the Trade charity for the Hospitality Industry representing past and present employees across all sectors of the industry. They are the safety net who offer support and financial assistance to the vulnerable whether they are young, old, alone or a family, who through no fault of their own find themselves in a crisis situation i.e: poverty, accident, illness or bereavement.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Behind their smiles and slick service hospitality workers can fall upon hard times just like anybody else. Ours is a stressful industry, with long hours, high pressure environments and physically demanding work. We are here to offer financial, physical and psychological support to those who need it.
