Fundraising for The Children's Trust
Story
Hi there - thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!
After months of training, the London marathon is almost here! It's my first marathon, and although I am looking forward to it, I have never before run that far and am hoping that I can make it on the day!
I am running to raise awareness and funds for The Children's Trust, which is a charity that helps children with severe disabilities. It provides specialist care for some of the UK's most disabled children, including those with brain injuries sustained as a result of accidents or serious illness. Every year over 5000 children suffer acquired brain injury but most don't have access to specialist help - this is where The Children's Trust comes in.
If you could help me in my quest to raise money for such a worthwhile cause, I would really appreciate it. I plan to run 26 miles - surely that merits one or two donations?
If you could even donate one pound, that would be a great help. Obviously feel free to give what you can, but every penny counts.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Children's Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
