1 day to go...really hope the weather holds!!
On Saturday August 21st, I will be jumping out of a plane, whilst it's 15,000 feet in the air, praying that my parachute opens. I'm doing this tandem skydive in order to raise money for Age Concern Exeter, a charity that means a lot to me - each week that I'm in Exeter, I visit an elderly gentleman, just to sit and chat and have a cup of tea. It's a voluntary service, that relies on donations to keep going. Without more funding, the scheme in serious danger of not being able to make it through another year. Age Concern Exeter doesn't have a lot of money, and we want to make this an absolutely MASSIVE event. Anything you can give will be very much appreciated. To all of you that have already donated (I've got about £250 so far! Woohoo!!), and to all of you that will through this site, I would just like to say an enormous thankyou; it really does mean a lot to me - it's going to make a huge difference for something that I really care about :-)
