Although I am scared of heights my husband, Dan, encouraged me to take the plunge and do a Tandem Freefall Parachute Jump. He arranged it all and started collecting sponsor money for my 40th Birthday last month.
I am terrified but excited at the same time. As Dan said:

As many of you know our son Robbie is Autistic so The National Autistic Society charity, along with others, is very close to our hearts. What Jenni aims to do is a tandem freefall from around 13,000ft “depending on weather”
What many people don’t know is that Jenni has a very big fear of heights; to give you some sort of idea even climbing step ladders is a challenge. So why then pick the highest and, in her eyes, the most frightening challenge for the sponsor? THE REASON IS QUITE SIMPLE, ask yourself what is the most challenging thing that you could do? Then think of how an Autistic child, like our son, copes every day of his life facing this sort of task. Our lives are very simple in comparison. Jenni would like to show us that we can all overcome our fears and by doing so raise as much money as she can for the National Autistic Society.
They say life begins at 40 so please let’s give Jenni a 40th Birthday year to remember and sponsor her to help people not only like our Robbie but in alot of cases more severe.
