Many of you will know that in 2012 I undertook a trek to Machu Picchu and raised over £2000 for CHC.  I'm now setting myself a challenge for September 2014 to trek to the summit  of Kilimanjaro (or as close to the summit as my body will allow) and raise another £2000, which will fund a specialist palliative care nurse for a month.

Every year Cornwall Hospice Care needs to raise £6.8m to maintain its services and level of care for patients and their families.

I'm sure most of you will know a family member or friend who has benefitted from the services of a hospice either in Cornwall or elsewhere. I know I have and I want to see the service continue.
