Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. i need your help, i need to raise as much money as possible for leukaemia research.
i have taken the challenge to run the 2010 london marathon in loving memory of my auntie Judy who bravely battled leukaemia for several years, my aim is to raise as much as i can so leukaemia research can help to other sufferers their families. leukaemia research is focused on finding causes,improving diagnosis and treatments and running ground breaking clinical trails for blood cancer pateints. Around 28500 people of all ages grandperants tp babies are diagonised in the uk with blood cancers each year.
My auntie Judy taught me to belive to have faith, even when she was dying she was still trying to help others, she never gave up. with your help we can help others too, give them a chance. I chose to run the marathon because i soo desperatly wanted to do somthing in honour of my aunt, she was heaverly involed with the leukaemia research charity and sat the fundraising commitee as well as actively helping in events whilst battling leukaemia. I used too run but untill the begining of this year i hadn't put on my running shoes for about two years, the training is hard an a challenge with everyday life, but this is no challenge compared to those brave people who are fighting for their lives. life has taught me thats its soo fragil soo short, since the death of Judy i have lost two other freinds to leakaemia, i have seen the heartbroken families and freinds, and it has made me even more determined to cross that finish line and make a differance.
