After the success of last year's channel relay attempt i thought i couldn't miss the opportunity to go for a solo attempt. So sometime during the August bank holiday week while you are all sunning yourselves i will be in the channel somewhere hopefully heading in the direction of France.

The project I am fundraising for is called The LIttle House Contact Centre. This service was developed from a recognised gap in services from our existing work with homeless families in Exeter. The LIttle house is a service that enables and supports separated families to have safe quality time with their children.  The separated parents have been unable to arrange and negotiate shared care or contact with the children between themselves and therefore need support to do this. Often there have been domestic abuse issues in the relationship and ongoing concerns and potential risks. We provide child friendly rooms, support and risk management if needed to allow the children to continue their relationships with their separated parent.

There is no statutory funding for this work so we have to make small charges to each family that use our service and are reliant on raising large amounts of grant money and donations. Without significant donations and fundraising the service would cease to exist. So please dig deep and sponsor me.
