I completed the Everest Marathon on 4th December 2010. It was an ordeal. My guts played up and not only was I unable to take on much food and drink all day, but the little that went in came out again (at miles 14 and 21 to be precise) accompanied by the previous night's meal - funny, I didn't remember that we'd had diced carrots...

There's more info on my web page at www.btinternet.com/~wilde/55th.htm.
