HELLO EVERYONE,
I am sure you are all starting to get busy in the run up towards Christmas, but please take a sec to read below:
On Sunday 6th December myself and several of my friends will be gathering in Battersea Park for our very own University Football Tournament. This will be in aid of ABC, a charity whom we are all very passionate about, and with whom we have worked with before. Please have a look at what ABC do..www.abctrust.org.uk
The charity concentrates on rehabilitating street children in Rio. What is more, they teach the kids how to make films, music and several other inspirational and creative activities. All in all, they help to better their lives and to take their minds off the past.
As you are all aware, the World Cup is happening in 2010 in South Africa. Just before this event, there will take place a street children's World Cup in South Africa. With the charity tournament, ABC's aim is to raise enough money in order to send a young Brazilian team to represent their country. It really will be a chance of a life time for several young, aspsiring football players.
In order for this to happen, each team member playing in the charity event tomorrow needs to raise 100 pounds (or more.)
Please support our cause; any donation would be really appreciated. Thankyou.
Lots of love, Jess
