My story

I'm going to be spending a full 12 months in Costa Rica, volunteering with children. I will be leaving in August this year, so I've not got long to raise the money I need, so please help!!
In addition to this Just Giving site, I will be fundraising in my spare time (alongside doing my A Levels in English Language, Music Performance, and Spanish) I have quite a few ideas!! However, if anyone has any advice they can lend me, I'll be happy to listen!!
On 30th April I spent 8 hours baking cakes, and got sponsored to this by my friends and family. The next day I sold them at 20p each. From this, altogether I raised £333.32.
On May 25th my parents and I got up early and did a car boot sale, which raised £205.73 towards my trip.
On 14th June I held an Evening Do with local band The Vinyl Monkeys, and a DJ. There was a raffle with prizes that had been donated to me by local businesses, and the grand total of profit I made was £1086!
In addition to this I've had quite a few donations by cheque.
