Josy, Sharon, Steve, Vanessa, Neil and Abs are going to dress up with inflatable sumo outfits and run for 5km around London's Battersea Park to raise money for a London-based education charity called Gemin-i.org (www.gemin-i.org)
We are going to look ridiculous...and are going to do our best to run despite our silly suits, but we need your help to raise money! About Gemin-i.org
Gemin-i.org is an education charity which uses innovative technology to link young people around the world. We run a global online learning community - Rafi.ki - which connects schools in over 100 countries, and gets kids working collaboratively on a range of projects covering issues from fair trade to climate change, and from migration to human rights. Rafi.ki builds understanding of these issues and encourages young people to take action. Money raised from the Sumo Run will help us develop our software to connect schools in remote areas of the developing world.
