In September, I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and aim to reach the top on 21st September as part of the UN world peace day.

It is an enormous challenge and I hope to help raise funds for African Initiatives. This is my first time doing this type of activity, much less climbing Africa's highest mountain (5,895 metres), therefore I hope that you will support me in my cause.

During my journey to Africa, I will also be meeting the Maasai people and learning of their culture and traditions. I believe it is important to support the Maasai in securing their traditional land, which is crucial for the survival of this ancient and proud people who have lived in balance with their environment for so long.

Any contributions to my cause is much appreciated and will help motivate me whilst on the journey upwards.
