Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  I'm just emailing you to let you know that I am taking part in the Walk with the Stars - a 13 mile walk, starting at midnight on Saturday 21 June.  I'm not worried about the walk, just about staying awake!  I would be really grateful for any sponsorship you can pledge and I know the Hospice will be, too.  I hope you will forgive the rather impersonal way of asking but this way you don't have the embarrassment of saying no to my face - you can just ignore the email!  I hope you will give, though; it's a good cause and even the smallest amount will help.
