Clair, my wife, has just celebrated 2 years of her new life after her double lung transplant. But others aren’t so lucky. Clair may have survived LAM but many women are still suffering from this horrid disease. LAM Action offered advice and support to us in coping with this traumatic disease and was a real lifeline to Clair whilst she was waiting for her transplant. LAM Action although a very small charity are trying to raise funds for research to halt the progression of this deadly disease as well as providing valuable support to sufferers and their families. Many families have been devastated by this disease and anything you can donate would really make a difference.
I am 50 this year and finding the training hard but I really want to raise money to help this valuable and highly committed charity.
