My story

In October 2010, a good friend of mine, Paul Brooke-Taylor suffered a stroke at the age of 35, and lost the sight in his left eye. After 3 months of tests, continuous visits to the hospital, an MRI scan and a visit to a neurologist it was only discovered it was in fact the result of a stroke.

Paul is organising a 24-hour football match to raise money for The Stroke Association, of which, I'm participating along with many other of his friends. The purpose of the game is to raise awareness that young people can also have strokes, and to raise as much money possible for The Stroke Association.

I'm likely to be playing for about 10-12 hours, so please donate and give generously!

You can also donate via mobile phone texting the following code & amount JIMH99 £5 to 70070, or slightly more JIMH99 £10 to 70070.
