A million thanks to all of you who have supported the Mission by donating online or by post direct to me. You have each helped swell the Mission's much-needed funds by well over £2,500. Thank you.
My daughter, Jo and I got round the marathon in hot sweaty conditions in 5 hours 15 minutes. Not record-breaking, but considering all things we were so pleased to do it and felt great at the finish. We both are grateful to the amazing crowd of well-wishers and specially thank Ben for making the trip to wave us on, Dougy for his help and support and Margaret who has been inspirational always.
It's not too late to donate, so don't be shy if you meant to give earlier, but forgot. The Mission won't mind and I'll forgive you!
