Ayrshire Hospice
The Ayrshire Hospice provides specialist palliative care to the community of Ayrshire. This care is provided by a multi-disciplinary team led by a Medical Director and includes In-Patient Care (20 beds), Day Care (16 places per day) and Specialist Palliative Homecare Nursing Team. Our services are provided at no cost to patients or families, but as a charity, we are heavily dependant upon voluntary donations to meet expenses.We currently require to raise, from voluntary sources, £3.2m per year.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

As many of you know I like to support the Ayrshire Hospice & I am trekking the Great Wall of China in April 2009 for the charity. I am asking you to dig deep into your pockets to sponsor me. I believe passionately in the efforts of this charity & that terminal illness effects every one of us directly or indirectly during our lives. What many of you may not know is that this charity recieves very little by way of national funding so every penny counts to maintain the valuable service that they offer.
