We all have worked closely with the cancer teams at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust and know what an amazing job they do. We also know just how much support our patients receive from Macmillan within the community and are keen to try and raise funds for this.

Macmillan in Lewisham and Greenwich are working on projects to provide additional psychological support to patients with cancer to help them cope with their diagnosis and all the money raised will be going to this.

So we are undertaking a number of challenges culminating in the 106K Isle of Wight Challenge ( yes I know thats a VERY long way !!)

On September 10th we are all walking the Thames Bridges Trek, 23K along the bridges of London ( there may be some form of rainbow based uniform - beware people of London)

Between now and April we will be forcing cake on people in exchange for cold hard cash and running as many races as we can find to keep up the momentum..more news to follow with dates..

In February Jo, Rebekah and Ros completed the Mad Dog 10K in sunny Southport and on March 12th Jo completed the North London half. Rossie is running the Richmond half the following weekend.

Jo is then running the Brighton Marathon ( although this is for a brain tumour charity - which she will be let off for as its a subject close to her heart!!)

then Jo will be training ( assuming she is still standing )for the IOW challenge in April 2017 and has managed to coerce the lovely Karin into joining her and taking a team of 10 supporters who are not in for the holiday they were hoping for!!

In  May Jo and Rebekah will be hitting the streets of Liverpool for the Rock n Roll half marathon - which will be Rebekah's first ever half!!
