Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This picture was taken last year, five minutes after crossing the Moonwalk finishing line in Hyde Park. I was completely done in, but so exhilarated to have finished that it temporarily didn't matter! Our Moonwalk team has been out pounding the pavements for several months now, training for this year's midnight marathon. The forecast for May 17th is very English - cold and wet - but we are determined to get each other around the course and not let our supporters down. The money we are raising all goes to breast cancer charities, so if you can, please dig deep to give us that extra incentive to keep going across the finish line! Thanks - we won't let you down! Somehow it seemed a bit harder this year - colder, wetter, windier, darker (or maybe I'm just older?) - but we kept each other going, and the team walked over the finishing line together in May sunshine. Huge thanks to my companions Sam, Pam and Emma and to all my supporters for the inspiration to keep going through the rough patches.
