Hi and thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Prospects.

The reason I have started this page is because I work for Prospects as Mission Development Coordinator: North and Wales.  The area I cover runs from the Severn Estuary to the Wash, up to the Scottish Border and including all of Wales.  I try to do this is 22 hours a week (and often go over my hours!) 

The main point of my work is to support churches in explaining the Christian message to people with learning disabilities in their community in a way that is both accessible and meaningful. 

Regardless of whether you are a Christian or not I hope that you can support the idea that people with learning disabilities should be allowed to choose for themselves whether or not they want to be a Christian.  They can only make this choice if the Christian message is explained to them in a way that they can understand...this is where I come in. 

My work is funded solely through gift income.  So the money raised through this site will help to fund my salary and expenses so that I can continue to enable people with learning disabilities to have a real choice with regard to their spirituality.
