My story

 

Thanks for visiting Malcolm, Richard and Iain's aka 'The Jocks of Hazzard' fundraising page!

As you probably know, we are taking part in the 2009 Sucata Run - a bargain basement banger rally tour where teams of up to 4 people drive to Europe's most westerly point in 4 days, in bangers costing no more than £250!

It takes place over the August bank holiday weekend (27th - 31st) and culminates at the breath taking Guincho beach on the Portuguese coast.

The tour runs from Rouen, the stunning capital of Normandy, to Cabo de Roca, Europe's most westerly in point in Portugal. On the way it passes through La Rochelle, the most attractive and unspoilt seaside town of France, San Sebastian, the Spanish summer capital, and the beautiful Salamanca, Spain's original party city.

Sounds great but its not just 3 guys on a road trip... our aim is to raise £1000 (or more if you all feel very generous) for charity... whilst admittedly having a bit of fun on the way and out running those dopey Hazzard County Sherrifs!

First things first - sponsoring us doesn't mean you’re paying for us to go on holiday! All money raised will go directly to a charity called Gemini-.org. All costs are paid for by us (purchase of car, insurance, fuel, ferry, accommodation etc).
