Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Why I am attempting to do this (at 42 years of age) is quite beyond me but the thought of some good being achieved out of it has spurred me on. I don't actually like running, so the training was as much fun as a trip to the dentist when you have a sore tooth... If I make it through this hopefully I can thank you all personally as it would be a great excuse to get out more! At least this has made me realise there are so many people a lot worse off physically than me (hard to imagine, I know!) and they are intending to complete the marathon so anything that you can spare would be terrific.
