St Margaret’s Hospice has been at the heart of Somerset’s community for over 40 years, delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness.

Story

Thank you for visiting this fundraising page created to honour the memory of John Hacking who died of cancer at St Margaret's Hospice, Yeovil on 7th May 2016.

St Margaret's enabled my father to live his last few weeks in a modern, loving, caring, bright, sunny & hugely professional environment supported by his family and friends. St Margaret's lives on helping others to overcome their ordeal using their day-care facilities and letting in-patients die with dignity. They then support the families & friends that remain behind in their own inimitable way - as a family we can not thank the hospice and their staff enough for how they helped and supported us all through this difficult time.

Please help St Margaret's Somerset Hospice continue their work by making a donation through this site. Using Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It is also a highly efficient way to support the Hospice, ensuring they get your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support and for remembering my father in this way.
