Hi , Thanks for visiting the web site and thanks if you have made a donation. I am going to make a trip around the world and one reason for that trip is to raise money for NACC.
Ulcerative Colitis came into my life when I was 26, it’s a disease there is no cure for at the moment and the cause is not known. It can turn into cancer and unfortunately it did four years ago. The disease certainly changed my life. Another thing that changed my life was parachuting, only this has been for the good, I have met some wonderful people (you know who you are) and overcome some challenges and had a great time. So now I am going to combine the two (to get my own back if you like). I am making a trip around the world and visiting as many Drop Zones as I can, in doing so I want to raise money for NACC, the National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s disease. It’s not one of the better known charities but a very worth while cause. So thanks for visiting the web site, hope you will make a donation – it goes directly to the charity and they even get the tax back from good old Mr Brown and Co.
The first two short parts of the trip to Ireland and Spain have now been completed and I am now on the final and longest leg of the journey. I have now been to South Africa and both the Weast and East coast of Australia as well as Sydney. I am now in New Zealand and will be visiting Drop Zones in both the North and South islands. From there its, South America, the West and East coast of the USA as well as Dallas in Texas and finally onto Canada . This final leg of my journey will take over 4 months to complete. BBC5Live have agreed to cover my trip with the first interview took place just before I left the UK, others are planned to follow. I will be writing a book about the whole experience, the people who have helped, those I meet, places I visit. I will take lots of photograps as well as taking my video helmet along with me. Please have alokk at my blog, its regularly updated and there are quite a few pictures on it now http:roundtheworldskydive.blogspot.com There is also a link into Facebook.
