Having returned from the North Pole (see story and links below), I find myself someway short of my Fund raising target for Childline. A situation I intend to rectify by Year end. So after a little thought, by others naturally, it was decided that if I could raise a decent amount of money making a fool of myself then so be it.

To this end I will be wearing the offending trousers pictured here at Turnberry in November. Turnberry was the host course for this Year's open and like myself is not associated with garish outfits. Please help me reach my longer term target, all help is fantastic and wish me luck. It may be the only time in my life I pray for rain on a Golf course.

--------------------------------------North Pole---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well we did it ! We started with three clear aims

1- To reach the Magnetic North Pole . Done.

2- To travel safely together as a three man team . Done.

3- To win the 2009 Race to the Pole. Done, we won three of the four stages outright and overall were victorious by approx 48 hours.

A huge thanks to all those who have helped so far especially our families and friends .The lowest recorded temperature we experienced was over -60 degrees which I can assure you all is not a good time to need the loo.For the record more details etc can be found on official team website http://www.pole-in-one.com/ or on official race website http://polarrace.com/2009

For those who have not yet had the time to sponsor me this page will remain open for the remainder of 2009 so please help Childline now. I have done what I can for the moment ! Thanks again see you all soon.
