Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am running the Great North Run on the 5th October 2008.  It is the first time I have ever run this type of distance.  I am running on behalf of the Chernobyl Children's lifeline because earlier this year my wife and I hosted a child from Belarus for a month.  It is our intention to do it again next year and I would like to raise money to help bring a group of children to this country and maybe fund an outing for them.

Hosting the child was a great experience. I did not realise until I became involved in the Burtonwood link of this charity that the Chernobyl disaster was still impacting on the lives of the people of Belarus.
