Starting on Friday 27th February 2009 for 3 days, myself and a group of car enthusiasts will set off from John O'Groats to Lands End to raise money for the Parkinson's Disease Society. The reason i've chosen this charity is that one of my grandparents who had this disease sadly passed away in April 2007. Like all grandparents, he meant alot to me, my family and all his friends.
The reason that we're doing it in something as modern as the car opposite, is that he was an engineer. He was always fascinated by modern design and he loved cars. I think this would be a fitting tribute to a man that meant so much to so many. If you would like to find out more about the charity drive or put your name down to take part, please go to www.civinfo.com/forum/meetings/20056-john-ogroats-lands-end-charity-drive-28-02-2009-a.html

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
