I am walking 50km in the mountains around Lourdes, France at Easter 2008.
All money raised will go to Group 185, one of the many groups that make up HCPT-The Pilgrimage Trust. Over the last 10 years, Group 185 have taken more than 65 disabled and disadvantaged children on special holidays. We will be taking 6 or 7 children on holiday again in 2008. The cost of each child is £575This sum of money has to be raised by the group helpers. In addition to fundraising to pay for the children’s fares, all group helpers pay for our own fare. We have a minimum of two helpers to one child when we travel.
I have reached my target of £1100!!!! Thank you so much to everybody who has helped me to get there, together we have raised enough money to pay for two children to go to Lourdes next Easter.
