***Another Update - 27 April 2009***
I did it!!!, i ran the marathon in 4 hours 50 mins!..I'm very pleased to do it in under 5 hours :)
The last 10 miles were very hard, but It really was the most amazing experience, i couldn't have done it without the support of the crowd calling out my name and encouraging me to carry on.
Thanks so much to everyone who supported me, i met the chairman of the Charity after the run and he was very happy we hit the target and bought me a pint!!

***Update****
Hi Everyone,
I'm slightly lost my mind recently and signed up with a charity to run the london marathon this year...somewhere in the small print it says i have to find £1000!!!...if anyone knows anyone who might have this kind of sum lying around please can you put them in touch with me, or point them at this site...
Here is some fundraising marketing bumf:
"Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospital Kidney Patients' Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation."
