BUPA Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

Action for M.E. works to end the ignorance, injustice and neglect people with M.E. experience. Our children's services offer support and information to children and young people with M.E., their families and carers carrying on the vital work of AYME, the Association of Young People with M.E.

Story

Thank you so much for visiting my Great North Run page.

I am running the Great North Run this year for AYME - The Association of Young People with ME, which is a charity very close to my heart. ME is a debilitating illness that affects people of all ages and I have seen first hand the impact that it can have on young peoples' lives.  Anything that you can donate will be very gratefully received and will go a long way to make a young child, who has had a tough break, very happy.

Whilst running 13.1 miles might not seem very far, for a chunky, short legged, stumpy non-runner it will be quite a challenge.

I can't thank you enough for donating to this brilliant cause.

Thanks again!
