We are doing a 56-mile route around the Solent coast using 6 ferries to link the coastal roads along the mainland and the Isle of Wight, through the New Forest, round the north coast of the Isle of Wight and along the South Coast of England.  Cycling on water proves a challenge so the route has the added interest of 6 ferry rides from the big commercial WightLink ferries to the quirky pink Hamble ferry.  It is estimated to take approximately 8 hours.
