So, I only have a few weeks left before the London Marathon and I have had a blip with the training with an unexpected and nasty virus. But my GP has given me the all clear and I am now back on track! I am aiming for a long run of 20 miles next Sunday (2 weeks before the final day) and am sure I can catch up. The Marathon might be more painful than I would have hoped but I WILL complete it. I have been so inspired by everyone who has sponsored me and will be running for them, the patients and families I have worked with for the past five years at St Helena Hospice and my colleagues who work so hard.
