We enjoy an international reputation for excellence, treating more than 40,000 patients every year. Julie passed away on August 6th 2007.

This page has been set up in memory of Julie. During her long illness and especially in her final days the treatment and care provided by Christie's hospital staff was exemplary. The donations to this site will all go to Christie's so that others who are blighted by cancer can continue to benefit from the hospital's facilities.

Under Dr Wardley's supervision Julie was able to benefit from having access to a number of clinical trials which I am sure contributed significantly to extending Julie's quality of life way beyond what would have been normally expected.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Christie's will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
