Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. My name is Joseph Salmon and in the coming months I shall be preparing for a charity-based expedition to Nepal this summer, the 2009 DUCK Himalayan Trip. While studying as a Durham University undergraduate, I was struck by the opportunity to go to a country less fortunate than our own to volunteer in community projects organised by 'Future For Nepal' (FFN). You may already be familiar with FFN, an organisation dedicated to giving children in Nepal a better start in life. The funding of this project comes entirely from the volunteers and I need to raise over £2,100 over the coming months, half of which goes directly to FFN. One event I'll be completing to attract sponsorship is a Coast to Coast ride in one day with a friend. I'll be cycling 147 miles from Whitehaven to Sunderland on the 25th April this year!
