Please help us to raise money so that our son, Joshua and other children can receive treatment at the Bobath Centre, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with cerebral palsy.
Cerebral palsy makes it hard for Joshua to control his muscles, maintain postures and co-ordinate movement. This makes everyday activities (like getting dressed, eating or playing) difficult to do and can have a profound effect on the way he develops as he gets older.
This is why the Bobath Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy is so important. The charity has specialists who will provide physio, occupational and speech & language therapy tailored to Joshua’s individual needs. Because they work exclusively with cerebral palsy, they have knowledge and skills you that would be hard pressed to find anywhere else.
The Bobath Centre will help Joshua to become more independent, remain healthy and reach his full potential. The charity also offers valuable support and advice for parents as well as training NHS therapists, medical professionals and other people working with disabled children to improve their skills and knowledge.
The Bobath Centre plays an important part in the lives of so many families living with cerebral palsy. We hope that Joshua will be able to visit soon; please give generously so that Joshua and other disadvantaged children will have a brighter future.
