DELTA Bike Ride 2008 · 22 June 2008 ·

DELTA believes that the vast majority of deaf children can learn to listen and talk and that all parents of deaf children should be given this option. It's aim is to promote the education of hearing impaired children through their residual hearing capacity and naturally spoken language.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As you may  be aware Paul has a deaf son, and his family have received support from DELTA. DELTA run among other things, subsidized Summer Schools for Families with Deaf Children, where while the parents are educated, the children are taken out on trips. The Summer Schools require funds in order to provide education and support both to Children and to their Parents.

The ride is from the Connevans Building in Reigate to Ovingdean Hall School in Brighton.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: DELTA (Deaf Education through Listening and Talking) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

Or if you fancy to cycle down to Brighton, either let me know or contact DELTA.

Many Thanks to you all,

Paul
