My story

I happened to hear Miriam's sister on radio last year after the 7/7 inquests - Miriam was killed in the bombings but I was so impressed by the compassion and dignity that Esther showed that I wanted to support her and her family in some small way by saying, in effect, that their loss was shared and that their response was one that I hoped I would have the courage to adopt if the same thing happened to me and my family (my daughters were all born at the same hospital as Miriam albeit later)

As someone who was in London on that day I know just how random the attack was

I am not the only person who was impressed by the reaction of Miriam’s family and Sean Penn became the Executive Producer of the film “Love Hate Love” about them.

The work that that trust supports is also a great one – the Miriam Hyman Children's Eye Care Centre in India

I hope you will do two things – firstly take the time to read about Miriam and the work of the trust www.miriam-hyman.com.and secondly to sponsor me !
