Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I'm running to raise awareness and money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society for which you can learn more about on their web site www.mssociety.org.uk/

Luckily my place is balloted so I don't have to raise a specific amount but any money you donate will be gratefully received.

A close friend of mine suffers from the primary progressive form of the condition and as I'm lucky enough to be fit and well, thought it only right to run it for those who can potentially fatigue and suffer performing tasks you and I take for granted. The money I raise will go into the research of the condition that still has no cure.

My sub-3 hour time has taken a back seat for this year. For the last month or so I've suffered from back pain, every form of shin splints so beyond my body's biomechanics for this year. My physio is pleading for me to give up marathons and take on triathlons instead, maybe this is my last....

Thanks for your time and if you're going to pledge, thanks for donating!
