On Friday 2 May at 10am, Remy and I will be leaving Clapham Common to cycle 200 miles to Paris!

Why, I hear you cry?!  Maybe we needed another challenge, maybe it was to shift the pounds after the Christmas binge.  Or maybe I need to think twice before I foolishly suggest we do something!

As some of you may know, I have been volunteering for CHICKS for three years which involves me leaving my wonderful husband and beautiful cats and spending a week in Cornwall.  CHICKS helps children from a variety of different backgrounds, just a few examples are children growing up in poverty, children of prisoners, and children who have been abused, either physically, emotionally or sexually. CHICKS also provides breaks for young carers.

Remy recently lost his aunt and godmother to cancer so has chosen to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support, please check out his page www.justgiving.com/remysharp

We have paid for the costs of the trip ourselves so every penny you are able to donate will go directly to our chosen charities.

Many thanks for your support.
