My story

 

HI!

Great to see you here!

I have decided to take up this challenge in memory of my Mother In Law, Alice, who sadly died in 1999. MacMillan were very supportive and installed a stair lift which enabled her to stay in her own home for as long as possible. 

 The trek will be very strenuous, walking for 7 - 8 hours most days and climbing to over 2,800m - I have a lot of training to do! You may think I've gone completely mad but those of you who knew me in my teens will remember me being known as "The Walking Rucksack" as all you could see was my legs! Nowadays, there's a lot more poking out!! ( Hopefully a lot less by the time I've finished!)

I will be organising various fundraising events which you may like to support - Keep the 20th of September free as Bouncing Off Concrete ( Rock Covers Band - www.bouncingoffconcrete.com) -will be performing!  Also, If you have any items suitable for a boot sale, let me know and I will arrange to collect them from you as I intend to do weekly sales once the weather gets warmer!
