MS-UK is here to support anyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), which affects over 150,000 people in the UK. We empower people with MS to live healthier and happier lives by improving the understanding of the condition and providing support where it is needed most.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I have been very fortunate to have secured a charity place for the London Marathon in 2009.  I always said that running half marathons was more my distance.  However, after some persuasion from my fellow sunday morning running friends at Bournville Harriers and being the only one who hasn't completed a marathon I decided to give it a go.

I wanted to run for a charity that had some meaning in my life.  This is the reason why I am running for The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre (MSRC).   It is a relatively small charity and fundraising from this event ensures that they are able to continue offering support to anyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis.   For those people who know me well, my Mom Lynn is a a Multiple Sclerosis sufferer and has been for the last twenty years.  She is absolutely thrilled I am running for this charity and knows how much it means to me.  My fundraising target is £1500 but I am hoping to exceed this if possible.

Many thanks in advance for your support.  It really is appreciated and means a lot to me.  I promise to update this page regularly to let everyone know how the training is going.

Thanks again
