St Leonard's is part of the Hospice Movement, a voluntary service for people with life-threatening illness. Our specially trained medical and nursing staff offer daycare for people living in their own homes and in-patient care in a purpose built 20-bedded unit. No charge is made to patients.

My story

Well, I did it!

On Sunday 13th April 2008, I completed the Flora London Marathon in 3 hours and 30 minutes!

I was running in aid of St Leonard's Hospice, York.

You can still donate money to the Hospice through this site and it's simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Leonard's Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
