This Sunday, I'm running in the Adidas 5k Women's Challenge in Hyde Park, partly because I'm in need of a good race, but mainly to raise as much as I can for I CAN. I CAN is the children's communication charity working to develop speech, language and communication skills for children who find communication hard. Frank starts at one of their excellent centres later this month - we're so lucky that there is a centre near us. It would be great if there were more across the country so please sponsor me to help make that more likely.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I'm hoping to run it in 23 minutes, which could put me in the top 150 out of 6,000. So if you want to spur me on with a bonus for making that time, you might want to opt for committing some of your donation now and some after the race has finished.
Thank-you very very much.
