Just 1 Page was a comic magazine featuring art donated to raise money for various charities. This year we have a bunch of comic sketches some art prints, and the highlight a beautiful statue which will be auctioned by closed email auction.

There will be a three day exhibition at Orbital Comics in Great Newport Street, London. This will happen from 21st to 23rd October 2011, the finale being a reading and signing by Mike Carey.
HORRIFIC: CHARITY COMIC ART SALE & EXHIBITION

Just 1 Page comics presents ‘Horrific’, a three day exhibition and art charity sale. Featuring original artwork including an exclusive page scripted by Mike Carey, plus “Thierry Zombie” by Charlie Adlard, and a range of signed prints from Tim Bradstreet (several Hellblazer covers, Punisher, Blade, Unknown Soldier).
The centre piece Shaun of the Dead statue (created by Jesse Farrell) will be auctioned by closed bidding (see below).
All art in the exhibition will be for sale at affordable prices and some additional items will be available to view via the Just 1Page Facebook and Flickr pages and all money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Bradstreet prints start at £13 but everyone who buys art or donates more than £6.66 will be put in a draw to win one of them. Minimum donation for all other art is £5 plus voluntary extra donation via the Just Giving page – no money will go via Just 1 Page or Orbital comics.
To buy any specific item, first email just1page@aol.com to check it has not already been sold. Gallery labels will be updated at Orbital to note which art has already been sold.
There is a £100 reserve on the Shaun of the Dead statue. To bid on this, I ask you to make a £5 donation via just giving and then contact me via the just1page@aol.com email stating how much you are prepared to pay. Or if you have no email, you can leave a sealed envelope at Orbital for the attention of Adrian Brown (Just 1 Page) with your name and contact details and how much you wish to bid.
The winner of the auction will be announced on 1 November.
In the event of two or more bidders making the same top offer, I will contact them on that day to discuss.
