Why your donation matters

Caleb Weller was just five years old when he suffered near-fatal injuries after falling 12ft from a first-floor window at home.

The youngster had suffered a depressed fracture of his skull but remained conscious as the emergency services were called.

It was certainly critical that he received urgent medical attention and therefore crucial that the Air Ambulance was able to provide the necessary transportation to a specialist unit.”

The youngster and his mother were then flown by the Air Ambulance to the neurological unit at the Royal London Hospital in 15 minutes.

Hi mother Gemma said “We never gave up hope that he would pull through. We were prepared to deal with any disability Caleb may have had but in the end he was fine".
