What's happening?
I'm taking part in a sponsored cycling challenge to raise money for Ebrahim College. Ebrahim College is an Islamic sixth form college that offers school leavers and adults the opportunity to study both Traditional Islamic Sciences and mainstream A level and GCSE subjects in an Islamic environment.

Why should anyone sponsor this challenge?

We look at the state of the Muslim Ummah today and see that it is a shadow of its former self. Whereas as once Muslims were the leading lights of disciplines as various as medicine, art, literature, maths, engineering, philosophy and religion, agriculture and more, we now find ourselves trailing behind the rest of the world, deficient in knowledge even in our own deen!

When you sponsor this challenge you allow for sacred knowledge to be passed down from generation to generation, a cycle (excuse the pun!) that has been in existence for millennia. A donation to this challenge is an investment in the future of the Muslim Ummah and will support young adults in their academic endeavours. We MUST educate and train young adults who have grown up 'in the ends' and have an understanding of the realities of living in the UK but are equipped with a solid understanding of the deen, so that they can tackle the challenges facing Muslim communities living in a Western society.
