Thanks for visiting mine and Joe's fundraising page.
On the 20 September Joe and I ran all 13.1miles of the world’s biggest half marathon in Newcastle, the Great North Run. It was a fantastic but gruelling day, and we hope you can chip in to raise some valuable money for our chosen charity, Christian Aid.
Last year, I went to to see Christian Aid's work with poor communities. I saw for myself just how a small amount of money can make a big difference. Just £14 in their Present Aid catalogue buys school shoes for a pupil in . So even a small amount of money, something you’d spend on a round of drinks, or a trip to the shops, can change a life.
Going to Zambia has really inspired me to do more to help Christian Aid, and Joe and I had a great time doing the Great North Run, meeting some brilliant people in Newcastle (including Sue Barker)and raising lots of cash for poor communities around the world.
We know times are tough but please dig deep - it really will make a difference to someone's life. We've done our bit...please do yours!
