I’ve decided to put my money where my mouth is and undertake several gruelling challenges in aid of Vitalise. Being a big fan of the charity's work, I hope to raise £500 in sponsorship for Vitalise. For the last three years, I've witnessed first-hand the difference that Vitalise makes to those in need, and as a result, would like to directly contribute to their cause more than ever.
To start with, I’m going to take part in the British 10k London Run on 12 July. To make it a real challenge, I am determined to finish the race in under one hour.
All it gets better...
Then, on 5 September, I'm going to participate in a parachute jump, which is going to be an incredible challenge for me, as I suffer from vertigo.
Personally, I would like to do a series of three fundraising activities, but can’t decide on a third one. To make my challenge more fun for everyone involved, I’ll leave the decision to the person who is willing to give me the highest donation. Just please, choose something doable! ;)
The essence of Vitalise is freedom and choice. These are values that I strongly believe in. Vitalise aims to contribute to the wellbeing of disabled people and carers by giving them access to a wide range of services.
